Oh Chakotay, I cant remember the last time I had so much fun! Kathryn Janeway laughed as Chakotay finished telling a joke.
From the beginning of their holodeck picnic, Chakotay made it clear that she was not to be the captain during their little excursion. She was to take a break from all the every day events on the ship and allow Tuvok to handle everything on the Bridge. At first she was reluctant, but she finally gave into his insistence that she take some time off, even if it was just for a few hours.
Glad you are enjoying yourself, Chakotay replied with a smile. Would you like some more wine?
I guess a second glass wont hurt me.
Chakotay took her glass and filled it with more Rose wine, while she took in the scenery around them.
Ah, this is lovely and a perfect setting for a picnic, she complimented as she took off her shoes and socks to enjoy the grassy field. A nice lake, beautiful green grass, a blue sky, and no bugs to fight off our food. What more could we ask for?
A kiss?
What?
Never mind, it just slipped out, Chakotay admitted with embarrassment.
Chakotay, this is so special! I think you deserve something in return, she said as she leaned toward him. In appreciation for the wonderful time you have shown me tonight.
As she scooted closer to him, she put her arms around his neck and gently caressed his lips with hers. Soon the kiss became deep and passionate as her tongue gently parted his lips and began probing his mouth.
It was so sweet and intoxicating that Chakotay was not sure if the wine was affecting him or Kathryns appreciation for him. Whatever it was, he did not want it to stop. He wanted to enjoy every second of it as he pulled her closer to him, but in doing so, one of their glasses spilled onto the blanket.
Some of the wine landed on Kathryns bare feet and she immediately released Chakotays pulsating lips with a sigh, So, much for that.
But I enjoyed every second of your kiss, he said with a smile as they quickly cleaned up the wine.
Kathryn lovingly smiled back at him, Thank you.
For the kiss? He was completely confused.
No, for the wonderful evening.
You are more then welcome.
